The WCSU operates the largest shooting range in the Cape and is supported by the affiliated shooting organizations and clubs along with the many direct members. Our goal is to provide a world class shooting facility and encourage, nurture and assist the shooting sports in the Cape in a safe and friendly environment for all.
History
Milnerton Shooting Association (MSA) started way back in 1970, as the Thumbusters Club for Black Powder on a Range in Hout Bay. The first Chairman and Secretary were Louis De Heer Kloots and Johan Fick.
In November 1974 the club name was changed to Cape Pistol Club (CPC) due to an increase in Membership and the fact that not only Black Powder but also Cartridge pistols were now being used.
